DESCRIPTION
Beef
The meat of a cow.
Biscuit
A flat,thin crisp cake made from dough.
Bread
Food made from flour,water and yeast mixed together and then baked.
Bun
A small round flat  bread roll.
Burger
Fried or grilled meat served  in a bread roll.
Chapati
A tpe of indian flat bread made from flour.
Chocolate
A sweet  made from cocoa beans.
Cooking oils
Oil used to cook food.
Coffee
A drink  made from coffee beans.
Curry
A dish of meat,vegetables,etc.cooked with hot spices.
Fish
A type of seafood.
Garlic
An onion -  like plant with a strong taste and smell.
Ginger
The root of the ginger plant.
Groundnut
A type of nut that grows underground.
Ice – cream
A popular, sweet frozen food made from milk fat.
Milk
A white liquid produced by cows and goats.
Mutton
The meat of a fully grown sheep and goats.
Nasi lemak
A popular Malaysian dish made of rice and coconut milk, and eaten with meat and ikan bilis  etc.
Noodles
Long narrow strips made of flour.
Onion
A round  vegetables with a strong  smell and flavour.
Pie
Meat,vegetables or fruit covered with pastry and baked.
Porridge
Rice or oats boiled in water or milk.
Rice
A type of tropical grain that is cooked and eaten.
Roti canai
An Indian pancake which eaten with curry.
Salad
A mixture of raw fruits and/or vegetables.
Salt
A white substances added to make to make it salty.
Sandwich
Two slices  of bread  with some filling in between.
Sauce
A thick liquid  used  to add more flavour to food.
Soup
A liquid food made by boiling meat, vegetables, etc. in water.
Sugar
A sweet – tasting  substance obtained from sugar cane to sweeten food and drinks.
Syrup
A thick, sweet liquid made from and water.
Tea
A drink made from leaves.
Tinned food
Food that has been put into cans.
Vegetables
Food from plants or parts of a plant (e.g : carrots, beans.
